County Clerk, Hugh Ogletree Jr. was born in 1948 and raised in Overton County. The son of Hugh and Betty Ogletree, he graduated from Livingston Academy in 1966. Hugh married Linda Conner in 1966 and they have two children, Tammy Mansell and Tonya Ford. Hugh and his wife Linda are also blessed with eight grandchildren.  Hugh and his family attend the Livingston Church of Christ.

Hugh was elected in 1978 to the Overton County Clerks Office and has served as County Clerk for 33 years. He is very dedicated to helping the citizens of Overton County.

    When the Overton County Archive is completed all Marriage Records from 1878 through Present will be entered into the Overton County Archive. The County Clerk's office has LIMITED BIRTH OR DEATH RECORDS.
